But, there were serious predicaments, most notably the financial crisis.
After the crisis changed markets that were once booming, Svendheim looked further.
He wanted to use all his knowledge from emerging markets and working
as an agency to take a more hands-on approach to real estate
by ensuring that he could build a business that
where directly involved in every process of the work.
Thus, the idea of bridging a real estate development company
with hotel operating and tourism companies,
two of the fastest growing industries in the world, emerged.
The year 2008 was a year of change for Svendheim, as that’s when he moved to Asia.
He realized how much potential there was in areas
that hadn’t yet been developed but had a great all-year climate.
Furthermore, he recognized that building properties in those areas was a
good real estate investment, as they could be managed in
bulk by professional operators.
Thus, the next step was to find local partners.
Afterward, he went on to establish resort management
and real estate development companies.
And here we are today. These days, Svendheim is
surrounded by like-minded experts who form a dedicated team.
His team consists of people with experience in
project development, hospitality, finance, and sales and customer service.
Furthermore, they have their own travel agency division.
Together, they are focusing on what both
tourists and potential investors want and need.
As such, Svendheim has an advantage over other entrepreneurs,
and a vision worth considering.
He aims to breathe in some life into several up-and-coming destinations.
More importantly, he wants to turn his vision of vibrant orange
holiday villages into reality.
